Ambition
The Dubai Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) wanted to expand its presence across various social media (SM) channels in order to directly communicate with various segments of society.
Challenge
The real challenge was turning a government authority into an attractive brand & household name.
Solution
The response was a SM policy, strategy, and reporting system, defining & tracking all social media activities; bolstered by SM contests & CSR events.
Impact
Within record time SM became the number one platform for communication with the public, earning the Best Social Media Campaign for a Government Body, at the Internet Awards Middle East 2012.
